The documents digitized have been included into the RSL Electronic Library (the Collection of the Electronic Documents). The RSL e-library contains the following thematic sections:

• Digital Library of Dissertations which includes over 900 thousand dissertations and author’s abstracts; 
• Universal Collection covering more than 120 thousand documents;
• Early Printed Books with over 9 thousand documents;
• Sheet Music counting approximately 15 thousand documents;
• Research and Educational Literature which contains over 40 thousand documents;
• Manuscript Collection with more than 4 thousand documents;
• Maps and Plans including about 200 documents;
• Artworks encompassing over 2 thousand documents; 
• Periodicals containing approximately 100 thousand documents;
• The Unpublished Documents with over 200 documents, and
• The Schneerson Library embracing more than 4 thousand documents.

In the descriptions of the digitized documents you will see the “Read it” link. Certain documents can be accessed without any restrictions, and such documents are marked by the ““ symbol. Still you will come across the incopyright documents of the RSL e-collection marked with the ““ symbol, and such documents are in a restricted access in full compliance with Part 4 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
